<div dir="ltr"><font color="#000000" size="2" face="Tahoma">The conceptual work was done about 16 years ago. There was a lot of public comment, and input from business and building owners, all brought together by Urban Designer George Crandall. Once that was
done the Urban renewal agency was created in order to provide funding for the concept. The final construction plans were designed by the city engineers in the Public Works Department. The presentation of the idea, relied mostly on photos of similar projects
in other town across the country. These were provided mostly by the Urban design firm Crandall & Arambula.

<div dir="ltr"><font size="2" face="tahoma">Our First Avenue Streetscape design was done in house by the city engineers in the Public Works Department. I would assume they have the same kind of CAD programs that your own public works department has. Again the
presentation relied mostly on photos of the various street furnishings out of the suppliers catalogs.</font></div>

proceeded to get the business/property owners to agree to be on the same page. And how long this process has been going on. I don't remember if it was an Urban Renewal dist. or the Oregon Mainstreet or if they worked together. We had so much information thrown
at us it was hard to pick out the most important points.</font></strong></div>
