Hi Angi,<br>Dayton is going through a branding process and have done a lot of research and talking about it. <br>If you've not gotten too far into it, I might recommend Bill Baker's book: "Destination Branding for Small Cities" <a href="http://www.destinationbranding.com">www.destinationbranding.com</a><br>
He has a good discussion about what a brand is etc. Things to think about before investing in a consultant. We've found pricing from about 8K to 40K. <br>If you want some of the folks we've talked to that seem to have good portfolios, I'm happy to share contact info. :)<br>

Right now our Visitors & Convention Bureau has hired a company to put together a brand for all of Medford. Downtown is a part of that program but not the entire piece. We will be working through the process with them which should help us with our own branding effort.
