<DIV><BR>HUMANITIES OFFERS PROGRAM GRANTS</DIV>
<DIV>Oregon Humanities has announced guidelines for 2012 Public Program and Responsive Program Grants. Of particular interest are proposals for<BR>programs that bring together diverse groups of Oregonians and reflect collaboration between organizations within a community, as well as<BR>proposals from a broad range of nonprofit organizations in Oregon, including those that may not traditionally define their work as humanity-related. <BR> <BR><STRONG>Public Program Grants</STRONG> support humanities-based public programming beginning after April 1, 2012. The postmark deadline for the Letter of Interest is Oct. 31. Oregon Humanities will hold a webinar about the Public Program Grants at 11 a.m., Sept. 22. </DIV>

<DIV><STRONG>Responsive Program Grants</STRONG> support humanities-based public programming developed in response to pressing, current issues or events. Programs<BR>must begin after November 1, 2011.
