Dalles Main Street Program is doing our own spin on the cash mob idea, with a
recurring effort we call our “20/20 Program,” where we use any
promotion avenues we have to encourage people to spend $20 at a particular
business on the 20<sup>th</sup> of the month. Today is our 2<sup>nd</sup>
day—last month, with no lead time and almost no promotion, the business
owner reported more than double her normal sales for that day.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
