The conference, which runs October 31 through November 3, will draw an estimated 2,000 preservationists to the Pacific Northwest to attend a range of educational sessions, field trips, affinity programs, and activities all related to the preservation of historic places. This year, the annual conference will focus heavily on sustainability, diversity, public lands, and reimagining historic sites.<br><br>The <a href="http://www.historicpreservationleague.org/forms/Scholarship%20Form.pdf" target="_blank">HPLO scholarship</a> is intended to cover costs for a wide range of Oregonians to attend the Conference, from students and academics, to contractors and historic property owners. Each scholarship will provide reimbursement for up to $1,000 in costs associated with attending the conference, including registration fees, travel, lodging, and food. Applications will be accepted between <b>June 18<sup>th</sup> and July 15<sup>th</sup></b> with decisions being announced by phone on <b>July 27<sup>th</sup></b>.
