National Trust Preservation Funds - deadline February 1, June 1, and October 1.<BR></STRONG>Grants from the National Trust Preservation Funds encourage preservation at the local level by providing seed money for preservation projects. The majority of our funding is awarded for planning activities and educational efforts focused on engaging new audiences in the preservation movement. Funding generally ranges from $2,500 to $5,000, and all grants must be matched dollar-for-dollar. For additional information, see:</FONT></DIV>

When your donors bestow a gift, encourage them to match it with a donation to the Trust. Remember, the Trust grows only if your organization grows and heritage organizations that work with the Trust help build cultural funding for Oregon. Forming a partnership with the Trust enables year-long gift giving.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

Mail Trust materials with your fundraising appeals. Include a Trust book mark as an insert with your donor acknowledgement letters. Remind your donors that their membership qualifies as a donation and that they can double their support at no additional cost by matching it with a donation to the Trust and claiming the tax credit. The <SPAN style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold">guidebook offers helpful information for owners of vintage homes. </SPAN>It identifies repair and maintenance solutions that sustain historic integrity while improving energy efficiency. </SPAN>The booklet includes a bibliography and contact information for contractors who work on wood windows and those that offer other weatherization solutions, such as storm windows.</FONT></FONT></P>
