We have one property owner who has never – in 26 years – paid his assessment. Luckily for us, he has a sale pending on his property so when it closes, the city will be paid. The city contracts with us, so that means we will get a sizable influx of funds which we intend to use for no interest loans to property owners for façade improvements.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#244061'>Twice in the past, the city has issued interest amnesties during which, if property owners brought their assessments current and KEPT them current, the interest would not have to be paid.
