First, we have not limited the program or most of the rest of our activities to our Old Town Bandon district. So we have totally avoided trying to segregate our downtown from the rest of Bandon's business. We were going to suggest that she partner with one of our Main Street businesses (and we have a chocolate shop downtown that does wine tastings for First Friday - a natural fit), but she has specifically stated that she does not want to go to another business; she wants people to come to her business. Also, since our Main Street program is currently funded by the City of Sandy (our EID failed, so...), she has started using the "I pay the same taxes as every other business in town, so I deserve to be part of this program" argument.
