The historic 1925 Beaver Theatre is in the downtown Beaverton Historic District. It has a very interesting history since it was a showcase for not only Hollywood silent movies but also movies made by the Premium Picture Productions in Beaverton. These locally
produced silent movies were seen all over the US and were popular in their time. The theatre is now owned by the Beaverton Bakery who use it for their offices. Carrie Ann Schubert would be happy to tell you about it's present condition and what is original
since it has been in her family for quite a while. Her email is attached.<br>
I have attached a copy of the text and drawing that was made into a marble plaque that is now on the front of the building.<br>
Eight buildings within the historic district received plaques similar to this.<br>
