<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#333333">The mission of the RARE Program is to increase the capacity of rural communities to improve their economic, social, and environmental conditions, through the
assistance of trained graduate-level participants, from across the US. These RARE participants live in and serve the communities for 11 months. RARE participants assist in the development and implementation of projects focused on increasing the vitality
of the communities and organizations we serve. The RARE Program is now in its 21st year and has placed more than 450 volunteers and served every Oregon County.
