<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I have some bittersweet news for the Network. Cassie Sollars will be retiring from her position as the executive director with the McMinnville Downtown Association. Cassie has done a wonderful job in helping
guide the MDA to the next level of their amazing downtown revitalization effort. They just continually push themselves to do better – all under Cassie’s calm guiding presence. We are sorry to see her go but wish her all the best in retirement. MDA has opened

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">McMinnville Downtown Association, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, is hiring for the position of manager. The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of the National Main Street’s Four-Point Approach® and
a solid appreciation for historic preservation and community development. Sixty-four of the city’s historic buildings in 14 blocks in central downtown were placed on the National Historic Register in 1987 as the McMinnville Downtown Historic District.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Manager is responsible for a $250K annual budget and serves more than 300 members in the downtown core and throughout the community. The manager is also responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong partnerships
with the City of McMinnville, the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce, the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership and Visit McMinnville. He or she will be part of the city’s urban renewal advisory committee as it pertains to downtown infrastructure
and façade improvements.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">McMinnville is a community of 33,000 in the heart of Oregon wine country, with more than 200 wineries within a 20-mile radius. The downtown core and adjoining Granary District feature 34 restaurants, 17 wineries
or tasting rooms, seven craft breweries or pubs, and numerous boutiques and stores. Third Street was honored as of one of the American Planning Institute’s Five Great Streets in America for 2015, and won second place in Parade magazine’s America’s Best Main
Street contest.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
