<div class="m_1238035951813815102WordSection1"><p class="MsoNormal">Please join us in welcoming the Downtown Estacada Commission as our newest Performing Main Street level community! Estacada is our first very small town (population approximately 3,000) to achieve this status. We hope they serve as an inspiration
to other small towns. Estacada has participated in the Oregon Main Street Network since our re-establishment, initially as an Exploring Downtown level community but quickly moving to the Transforming Downtown. They were also one of the initial communities
in the Clackamas County Main Street program. The Estacada Development Association (and now the Downtown Estacada Commission) has demonstrated a commitment to implementing a comprehensive revitalization effort using the Main Street Approach. They have a mix
of excellent promotional activities, including Estacada Uncorked; have seen several façade improvements and an amazing streetscape project; new infill construction; and a stronger business base. Nancy Hoffman, their full-time executive director, has provided
calm leadership to the effort and, along with board members and volunteers, has forged strong partnerships throughout the community. The City of Estacada has been a strong partner as well. So much so they created the Downtown Estacada Commission to provide
long-term stability for the revitalization effort and fund the staff position. And, through Urban Renewal, provided some of the funding for business improvements. A huge thank you to the Estacada Development Association for getting the ball rolling and to
the City for stepping forward with the Downtown Estacada Commission – we look forward to our continued partnerships with these entities.<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u class=""></u> <u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">Cheers,<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">Sheri Stuart<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u class=""></u> <u class=""></u></p>
