We have an unwritten rule that our ED (me) is responsible for social media management, and the other Admins are “backup”. This ensures a consistent voice, relevant content, and appropriate timing. It also ensures that calendared content doesn’t get stepped on by a random post. <o:p></o:p></li><li class=MsoListParagraph style='margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2'>Content – I use a social media calendar to plan content so we keep a consistent pace and don’t forget anything. We do post community news if it impacts downtown, but there are plenty of sites already collecting that information. Business advertisements will be posted if they are tied to a holiday, a KFDA event/promotion, or for major events (grand openings, etc.).
