We do only have staff as admins on the page; there has been discussion about adding board members- specifically ones who have a project that includes social media outreach as a component, but we haven’t actually seen that actualize yet, and as the idea for that project has evolved it looks like it will be a better fit for staff anyway. <o:p></o:p></div> <div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:12pt;"><o:p> </o:p></div> <div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:12pt;">Content-wise we have been working on putting together a comprehensive communications plan that will have a social media element. Our current plan is that I am a spontaneous post-er/share-er and our Communications person has the task of scheduling out a more structured series of posts. This has been a pretty good balance, although not as consistent as we might hope (hence the push for a comprehensive plan with some more accountability). We post all kinds of things- warming center opening announcements, newsletter links, articles about relevant placemaking efforts, news from our businesses, city hall announcements- all kinds of things. We will, as staff and board, often also comment on business or organization’s posts and tag each other of the Chamber and just try and have banter that attracts attention. Our philosophy is that it’s supposed to be fun and silly and we run with that.
