<p class="MsoNormal">Oregon Main Street worked with Washington State Main Street and a nonprofit consultant to develop a series of companion guides to introduce the Main Street Approach™ and nonprofit governance to people interested in downtown revitalization
especially board members, volunteers, and staff. The idea was to take our very long handbooks and break out the information into more manageable pieces for you to use for training different audiences.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The guides can be found on our website at <a href="http://www.oregonmainstreet.org">
www.oregonmainstreet.org</a>. Click on the orange Portal button to go to our resource page for our Network communities. The guides can be found under the Overview/Handbook tab. We also have sample documents on this site as well.

<p class="MsoNormal">While each guide is a stand-alone piece, they are designed to work together. Our next step will be to produce short videos that can be used at the local level for training purposes in concert with the guides.<o:p></o:p></p>
