<p class="MsoNormal">Salem Main Street has been asked to be the non-profit organization to facilitate a large mural art piece on a downtown condominium allowing the contributors to have a tax deduction. Our board wants to support this project and it fits with
our mission statement. What we need. is to find out the process to support this request, the legal risks, and how to mitigate the work. We were wondering if you would have information on the "how to” of being their <span style="color:#1E1E1E;background:white">501(c)(3)
tax exempt status on this mural project. </span> We thought there might be guidance from the State level or history of another Main Street city or town that did a similar project. <o:p></o:p></p>
