<p class="MsoNormal">For what its worth, the City of Madras instituted a color palette in 2011. Ironically, our Urban Renewal District contracted the CivilisConsultants (Michele Reeves) to update the Urban Renewal District’s business assistance programs to
help downtown businesses maximize their revenue per square foot of floor space. In doing so, they conducted a very thorough review of the physical environment of the downtown area. In the end, they recommended that the City allow more vibrant colors so that
buildings and the businesses therein stand out more. To quote the consultant, “grey is not a color!” So I’d recommend palette that allows vibrant colors and prohibits muted and neutral colors. Feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns.<o:p></o:p></p>

give design guidance to other property/business owners. It would be completely voluntary, but maybe our Main Street org could incentivize with funds or labor for buildings that do participate, or even apply for the OMSR Grant for this. Has anyone in the OMS
