I know I got to meet some of you on last week’s zoom meeting, I also received some very nice welcome emails. North Bend is new to the Main Street Program and did not have an existing downtown association prior. Therefore, I am starting from the ground up and in the beginning stages of forming my Main Street Board. Aside from learning so much myself, I will also be helping educate the new Board as well. North Bend has a population of about 10,000 people, with a small downtown district. We have our Public Library, Historic Theatre, and some expanding businesses within our Main Street Boundary. I am excited to be a part of the movement to help this coastal town grow. I would love any advice or tips when working with a new board, and any advice you would consider helpful. I know Sheri is on vacation, so I will be connecting with her soon.
