<p class="MsoNormal">As you can see in the attached email, Stayton has a few cool welcome signs and some that are not so cool. The cool ones were erected sometime in the 1990s, I believe, and are comprised of some of the gears, etc from the old woolen mill
that was in the downtown until it was demolished 20+ years ago. My understanding is that they were built with a substantial amount of volunteer labor, but that was a long time ago. The standard green “uncool” signs were erected by the City 8 years ago or
