<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Just a quick followup after 3 ½ hours of public testimony on HB5531 this afternoon. The public hearing structure today was very constrained with so many people signed up to testify. Each speaker
was given a grand total of two minutes to make their pitch in support of their project which were far reaching from water treatment plants to Head Start facilities. There was no testimony on sections of the bill itself, just individual projects and there were
a lot of that as you can tell by taking 1:00 to 4:30 and dividing by 2 minutes. By the end of the hearing, only two committee members remained, the chair and the vice chair to do the 2:00 timing.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
