<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt; line-height:115%"><b>Public Comment Opportunity: Special Assessment of Historic Properties OAR</b></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt; line-height:115%">The Oregon Legislature is considering House Bill 3190, which reauthorizes the program as a 10-year benefit for commercial, income-producing historic properties. In anticipation of its passage,
OPRD is preparing draft rules to guide program administration, addressing areas not explicitly covered in statute to ensure the rules are in place before the application period opens on November 1, 2025. The current draft is based on the text of HB 3190 as
of May 9, 2025, and may be updated if the bill is amended.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt; line-height:115%"><i>OPRD is seeking public comments by June 6, 2025.</i> Please submit comments through an OPRD web form at
