[Opds-contracts] Announcement from OSH

Attached, plead find a memo from the Oregon State Hospital regarding Emergency, Temporary Restriction of OSH Admissions related to COVID-19 and influx of Aid and Assist admissions, as well as the below message from OSH Legal Affairs Director, Micky Logan.


As stated in the attached memo from Dolly Matteucci, OSH Superintendent, the Federal Court recently granted a request from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to pause OSH admissions between April 13 and April 26, 2021, due to a lack of hospital bed capacity. Fortunately, OSH was able to resume admissions on April 19, 2021, one week earlier than anticipated.

As the current imbalance of discharges will most likely continue to impact hospital capacity, the Federal Court has also granted OHA's request to provide regular status updates to the Court on the hospital's ongoing ability to admit patients. We endeavor to keep our partners updated on our admissions status as well. We recognize the hardship temporary admission restrictions present to our community partners, and OSH will continue all efforts to create space for new admissions.
