[Willamette Valley Open Burning Announcement]

SUBJECT:	OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM:		ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is allowed.  
  Suggested burn times are from 8:00am to 2:30pm.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 8:00am to 2:30pm.

Note:  December 15th is the last day for backyard burning for 2009.  Backyard burning
       is banned from December 16th to February 28th each year.  

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
