[Willamette Valley Open Burning Announcement]

SUBJECT:       OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM:          ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Thursday, December 16th, 2010

Agricultural burning (North of Salem):
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
  be limited to the period 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Agricultural burning (From Salem south):
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended.


Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
