[Willamette Valley Open Burning Announcement]

SUBJECT:  	OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM:		ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Wednesday, January 6th, 2010
Agricultural burning:

  North of Salem:  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is allowed.  
    Suggested burn times are from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
  Salem south:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended. 
 
Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
