SUBJECT:       OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM:          ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is not allowed.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.

Burning advisory for: Sunday, October 3rd, 2010



Agricultural burning:

  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning

  be limited to the period 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.





Backyard burning inside special control areas:

  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.



Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
