The effective dates of some provisions are defined in the collective bargaining agreement, and some are not. For those provisions for which an effective date is not indicated in the language, they will become effective on August 21, 2013, with two exceptions. The exceptions are the personal leave issue and the increased vacation cap. These two exceptions become effective on August 1, 2013. A summary of the 2013-2015 SEIU Central Table contract language changes is available at: http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/CHRO/pages/cbas.aspx. This summary is intended to provide you with generalized information and is not to be relied upon instead of or used as a substitute for the bargained language. DAS Labor Relations will provide training opportunities statewide. Tentative dates are being scheduled and registration information will be sent out when finalized.
