re-employment of current employees’ compensation issue that was brought

into their former higher classification or into a classification with a salary
range that is between the demoted and their former higher classification.
This LOA is applied to those employees who are returning into the affected
levels within 2 years from a demotion. This LOA does not apply to former
employees being re-employed from outside of State service (see Article 29,
Section 9)<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

status restored. In other words, if the employees was in trial service
prior to the demotion, the employee completes the remainder of the trial
service period pursuant to the applicable provisions in Articles 49, 50, or 70
(Section 11 (3) (c). If the employee was in regular status, the employee
retains the regular status and does not serve a new trial service period upon reemployment.

(promotion, transfer, reemployment, etc.) and the appropriate compensation
