William,
The Oregon State Archives has microfilm copies of the Oregon donation Land Claims. You can send a request to the reference unit at:
reference.archives at state.or.us
Please limit your request to two named individuals and one record source per request.
It is my understanding that the BLM site is still off-line due to pending litigation and a federal judge's order.
Regards,

Is it o.k. to ask geneological questions on this list? Or is technology
argument the purpose of or-roots;-) ? It is off subject bickering like this
that causes rashes of unsubscribes. Please take your debate off list where
it belongs.
The BLM apparently is the repository of files on the Donation Land Claims
that were so important in the settlement of Oregon. What information do I
need to send to whom to obtain a copy of the text of an ancestor's claim?
What fee is charged?
