[or-roots] Ted Hill

Is a Ted Hill in anyone's family?  Going through my mother-in-laws photographs we found two photos of Ted Hill. On the back of both is this inscription in her writing "Ted Hill--World War I, Hawaii"  I had one time asked her who this was and she quickly changed the subject.  So, never found out from her who he actually was.  One photo is in a military uniform the other is a very nice suit.  He appears to be about 20 in the photogaphs.  The ohotos are in a nice folder, also.  Handsome young man.  She was born in 1898, so imagine he was born then or earlier.  She was born in Gold Hill, so maybe he was from that area?  If he is you family, I will be delighted to send them to you.  Diane
