One thing that might help is a good cleaning of your cache and other temp
files...
I didn't read what your problem is but most techs do not always know about
this trick. Microsoft leaves files intact even when you clean your cache
and temp files out with the "delete" button in the programs.
You can find your MS-DOS prompt and double click that.
When your DOS window comes up, it should come up to c:\windows
IF IT IS AT: C:\WINDOWS
type: deltree tempor~1 and then type "Y" for yes when it asks for
confirmation.
The command is "deltree". This command gets rid of everything in that
"folder" and I do mean EVERYTHING. If you've never done this before it can
tale a long time to delete everything. Once it's done, then if you do it
once per month or so will be good.
If you are really full up with files, this will make a difference in the
speed of your machine.
other "folders" to use this command with.
deltree history
deltree temp
Windows will put put these folders back into place and they will be EMPTY!
And ready to start again.
Don't forget to reboot after this process, if the folders are full, it can
really be a big job for the computer.
