FYI,

Due to a fire last Monday afternoon at the Oregon City LDS Stake Center
on Donovan Rd, it would appear that the Family History Center at that
location will be closed for a while. Peeking through a window, it looks
like the library did not sustain any direct fire damage, but that is not
for me to determine -- heat and water could have been just as bad. The
center did sustain considerable damage -- I do not know if an "official"
opinion of the damage has yet been released, nor what plans for repair,
rebuilding, etc are being contemplated.
