I looked at the Mtn View Cemetery records that I compiled in 1999.  There
are several Melvin's listed.
All of the following family are in the section, 1st Addition, Lot # 68.
Sophia Z.     Grave #1
August          Grave # 2
Harry R.        Grave #3
Nicholas T    Grave # 4
Oscar            Grave # 5
There is also, Ethel May Nieland and she is also in Grave 3 with Harry R.
As far as obit's, the cemetery has very little and your best bet is to
contact the cemetery and ask them for the name of the mortuary that handled
the services.  The funeral homes, for the most part, kept a lot of
information including copies of the obits.
The cemetery has their own web site and they have an email contact number
listed on the web site.
