Since there was some note taken of the Chapman part of the obit
previously posted, 

"1) an unidentified newspaper obituary, 'Mrs J C Aiken, Pioneer,
Passes',
probably from 1938

It states Mrs J C (Dee Ellen (Chapman)) Aiken, 87, resident of Douglas
County for 85 years ..."

Let me note that it continues:

Mrs Aiken was born in Iowa, May 25, 1851, the daughter of A J and Sarah
Jane Chapman, and at the age of two years crossed the plains with her
parents who settled at Glide, later moving to Wilbur. ...
