[or-roots] Kourikoske, Palo, Pallola, Nummalin or Numalin, Elander

I am looking for information on relatives which lived in the Clatskanie area in the late 1800's to the early 1900's.  

Andrew Anderson (Kourikoske), 

Hannah Britta Louisa Anderson ( Maiden name either Palo or Pallola.  Married to Andrew Anderson.  Had three girls.

John Nummalin.  Last name could also be spelled Numalin, Nummelen?  He was Emanual Elander's Cousin, Uncle to Arthur Elander.  John Nummelin apparently served during WWI, stationed out of Fort Lewis.  He is a suspected murder victum...perhaps the body was found in Rainier, Oregon in the vacinity of the Longview-Rainier bridge in the past 5 years.  The body found had late 1800 coins nearby and the body itself was apparently leaning up next to a tree. He apparently owned property in the Kerry, Oregon area.

John Elander.  Son of Emanual and Fredrikia Elander.  Apparently owned 160 acres in the Kerry, Oregon area.  Died in Portland in 1918 due to Swine Flu.

Charles or Kalle Elander.  Son of Emanual and Fredrikia Elander.  Suspected that he was assaulted when in Salem Oregon and was mentally affected by this.  He died in the State Hospital in Salem.  Unknown if he was a property owner in the Woodson/Kerry area at the time of the assault.

Not only am I interested in these people but in the area in which they may have lived.  Occupations of these people were likely logging, farming or fishing.
