My family resided just out of Sandy, Orgon, circa 1933/35.
Our home was the cook shack for a former logging of shingle mill.  The land had a large two story log cabin at the
end of the one lane dirt road.  My mother worked in one of the then restuarents in Sandy.

Was there any mention of Jasper W. Barnes in your books.

  i just rec'd a new book by clarence mershon of portland.  as was the first one, this one is called "living east of the sandy"  but vol. 2.  i covers people and places around corbett and a lot of the surrounding small towns.  happy to look up for anyone that is interested.
