No Terry;

It just gets real slow once in a while and so somebody has to stir us up,
also some of us pretend we have lives other than genealogy so don't always
jump on a query, or else it is just something we already know we won't be
able to find and don't have it to hand so don't respond for any or all of
those reasons, but since I had been obsessing the last few days on my
personal, well sort of the; line I have spent last 72 hours almost nonstop
pursuing are like 8-12th cousins from Ohio, which was part of the reason I
jumped on it, also I knew there was a high probability of finding SOMETHING
even if it wasn't exactly your answer.

If you are doing Oregon genealogy are you familiar with the Oregon State
Archives?

http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/banners/genlist.htm

will get you their archives index. If you would like a list of other stuff I
find useful ie. you are generallly a newbie to genealogy I would be happy to
bury you in information, I have a dozen or so documents on myh computer that
vary from fairly current, ie only 10 % or less of the links are no longer
valid, to some Euroean link lists I haven't checked in a couple of years
that are probably less than 10% still valid links.

Les C

PS,just to save all those folks who get excited about the volume of traffic
here I am going respond to the comments about not believing in Saint
Nicholas from a historical (or is that hysterical?) perspective, next time
someone rants about his non-existence remind them he WAS a historical
figure, I know because I have visited his tomb. The added benefit of this
remark is you can also use that response for genealogical hook, AIN'T I
DEVIOUS?

Fleas navidog ya'll
