I was suprised to find so many messages when I logged on but what fun.  I do
enjoy hearing what all of you have to say even if no one has been able to
help me with my Arnold family so far.  Oh well, I guess I need to find a
simular group in Virginia where I have met my stone wall and maybe then I
could find what I am looking for.  Problem is, so far I haven't been able to
find such a group there.  Anyway, keep the messages coming and everyone have
a very wonderful and blessed Christmas.

PS,  I am one of the "Boomers" mentioned and was four years old in 1950.  I
don't remember the Silver Thaw but sure do remember my parents talking about
it.  I vividly remember the sub-zero temps. here in the late 70's and the
three feet of snow in Jan. of '69!
