Thank you for the help and ideas coming through for me.  I guess I am a bit leary beause I lost about 1/2 of my hubby's childhood thoughts one time.....he worked really hard typing (the hunt and peck method), when I upgraded I lost 1/2 of what he wrote. That was the closest I ever got to be put out .........   :>)........he was kind tho and did finish it "again", as it was for a memory album for out kids. For Christmas that year, I copied all of the old photo's of their gggrandparents on down, with the history of each......

  If its not Genealogy then what is it. Genealogy is lot more than just collecting names and places and dates its storing them and this is part of that. I would jump all over anybody who doesn't think that your question is not pertaining to Genealogy.
