This is the only one in the McArthur book [unless there are valid
alternater spellings  :)  ]

It is where the lighted cross used to stand and before that U 0f O had a
small observatpory up there.

Nothing to say that there wasn't one in Jackson County, but I do not
recognize it. You can always thry GNIS.
