[or-roots] Columbia River

My mother (born in 1909) and lived in Sherman County  told me of crossing the 
columbia river by horse and buggy (or possibly sleigh) when she was a little 
girl.  Her mother's family lived in Goldendale and they traveled the route 
fairly often.
