You are right.  Two brothers of Unknown Bowen. 
Charles Bowen b. abt.1681, Cecil County, MD  St. Stevens Parish.  d. 1730 
Solomon Bowen b. abt. 1690  same place d. Kent County,  DE prior to 11/17/1747.

  I don't have a direct connection but Delaware is about 20 miles from Newark maryland.  I bet they at least were some sort of cousins
