[or-roots] Look-Up Request, Lewis Fields Linn

I checked "TheCentennial History of Oregon" and it always mentioned Lewis F Linn as Senator from Missouri.  He introduced bills regarding the Oregon territory.  I find no mention of him visiting or living in Oregon.
