I want to thank all who responded to my Phillips question.

I knew it was in Washington Co, but couldn't find it by traditional means;
i.e., by map.  My uncle was born there and recently buried there.  My
ancestors are buried in the Phillips Cemetery.

It lies between Cornelius [where my great-grandparents lived] and Hillsboro
[where my father was born] near the Cornelius Pass Road.

I just wanted to get a sense of place, which I add to my family history
database.
