Hi Evelyn,

McMinnville's newspaper is the News-Register
<http://www.newsregister.com/> but I didn't have any luck using the
archives search engine although the paper does archive news stories; I
guess just not obits. However, I did find the following in Salem's
Statesman Journal archives. Hope it helps.
