Hi Everyone,

First I want to thank everyone for the responses to my question about 
Brentwood.  It is wonderful to have so many persons willing to look up 
info.  I received some different answers so I went back and looked at the 
1930 Census record.

When I first searched for the name Claud Fisher,  Ancestry.com came up with 
a summary and what showed was   City-Brentwood, County-Multnomah, Oregon

When I actually looked at the page where he is listed, the top of the 
Census sheet read:

State-Oregon, County-Multnomah, Township or District-Precinct 
531,  Unincorporated place-  Brentwood.

So now I understand that it was just a small area around Portland back then.
