Hi Oregon List Members;
I am looking information on the "Pickler" who arrived out West about 1875 from Missouri. Lemon Albert and Minerva Pickler married in Kirksville, Missouri in 1874 and travel West to Elko NV. I have found Lemon Pickler and his family in the Census records of 1880 in California, 1900 in Idaho, and 1910 & 1920 in Portland, Oregon. I have a death notice for both Lemon and Minerva Pickler. The address at the time of their death was 3965 S.E.Yamhill, Portland, Oregon. They had eight children; Claude Leroy Pickler, Albert H. Pickler, May Pickler, Lena Pickler, Emma Pickler, Edgar George Pickler, Wayne John Pickler, Lynne Wayne Pickler. I am particular looking for Emma Pickler who I think married Herman Walch and taught school in Portland in the last 20's and early 30's. She died December 1936 after being sent home from the Mayo Clinic with a brain tumor. Any information would greatly appreciated.
I want to take the time to compliment the members of this list for being so helpful and I enjoy reading the point of view of all the members.

I am researching the following families
Blankenbaker (Virginia & North Carolina) who shortened their name to Pickler (North Carolina, Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and California); Robbins (Pennsylvania, Kansas, Oregon); Curry (Pennsylvania, Kansas, & Oregon); McDowall (Scotland, Missouri, Kansas, Idaho, Oregon); Pierce (Oregon); and Fain (Oklahoma, Arkansas & California.)
