[or-roots] George Browns in Clackamas County

[Bill & Chris Strickland]

There is record of a couple George Browns in Clackamas County --

1) George W Brown, chief engineer of the Oregon Water Power Railroad,
instrumental in building Faraday Dam and platting Estacada, about
1900-1905

2) George H Brown, the "Potato King", an original Oregon pioneer, raised
potatoes at the top of New Era hill and shipped seed potatoes to
California
