Is there any means by which I can search Oregon tax and land records to unearth information on an uncle 
Charles Campbell 
born Oregon circa 1882 to 
John & Maggie Campbell
died Portland area 1951 or 1952
    I visited Portland, with my mother, shortly after his death in July 1952 and his widowed second wife Lucille May [Hiney] [Campbell] Campbell was living on Alberta Street in North Portland.  My grandmother Lucille May Hiney married my grandfather Andrew Marshall Campbell [1891 - 1948] on 27 September 1911 at the Portland residence of Charles Campbell.  My grandmother married Charles Campbell sometime between 1949 and 1952.  I have acquired the Portland City directory pages for Alberta Street and for Campbell for the years 1950 & 1952.  There exists no entry that would identify the Campbell residence.  There are a number of addresses on Alberta cited as vacant - flowing, perhaps, from his rumored penchant for anonymity and probable reluctance to complete directory questionaires.  I know of residences in my city being cited as vacant but are, in fact, occupied by people unwilling to reveal their address.
    I tend to believe that I search of property tax and land title record might identify his then address.  How do I go about this search and can I do it on line?  Thank you so very much.
