  Alvin L. Osborn 
  A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, in Zeller Chapel of the Roses for Alvin L. Osborn, who died Jan. 12 at age 92. 

  Mr. Osborn was born April 21, 1910, in Council, Idaho. During World War II, he served in the Army. He moved to Portland in 1955 and was an accountant for Pacific Power & Light for 26 years. In 1939, he married Virginia G. Varnell. 

  Survivors include his wife; daughter, Judith G. Weidert; son Alvin L. Jr.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
